Most recently Simon has made five new commercials for Churchill Insurance which began airing on Boxing Day... pairing Churchill the nodding dog withe Martin Clunes - "Oh, yes !". These were the latest in a number of recent advertising campaigns for him, others being for Orange, The Health Lottery, Cathedral City, and Netflix (UK and USA).

One of Simon's favourite puppet characters Crazy Keith continues to pop up on the CBBC Channel in Bear Behaving Badly, whilst nearly ten years on Fimbles continues to screen in various parts of the world.

In 2011 he directed three live puppet shows for Legoland Windsor, been puppet master for Hamlet the Musical, and had a hand in several foul mouthed creatures for the second series of Mongrels currently screening on BBC 3. He also performed a bizarre range of characters for Sock TV a madcap series on Cartoon Network.

He created his seventh set of Charlie and Lola puppets which performed in Hong Kong for three weeks before heading off to tour Australia, and he also found time to puppeteer in the pulpits of St Martin in the Fields in Trafalgar Square, and St Paul's Cathedral.
